Every year, at Christmas, we decorate the window with appropriate decorations, including a giant stuffed snowman. While most of the decorations are taken down just after the holidays, he stays up until Valentine's Day. But after. Every day or so, we take some of the stuffing out of him, as well as some of the fluff on the display surrounding him. This makes him look like he is slowly melting. How fast he melts depends on when Easter is. If Easter is in late March, we quickly melt the snowman so that the Easter decorations are up in time. However, when Easter is in mid-April, like this year, we take a little longer to melt him. Still, we expect him to be gone in another week or so. Then we start the change to spring and Easter. That is not the only decoration that goes revisions over the year. Take a look at our rabbits, as seen on our Facebook page and on the site's title page if we can't get it to show up here. They are dressed as the king and queen of Mardi Gras. For Independence Day, they wave flags. For Halloween, they wear masks. For Christmas, they have stockings and have garland on their necks and ears. For Valentine's Day, they hold hearts. For Easter, they have nothing because they are already rabbits after all. One last bit of news, we might not be contributing reviews to the Pikeville Medical Leader after all. Wait for further updates. Until then, check out the original blog, now retitled for Reviews, elsewhere on the web site.
